January 1, 2020

In this lecture delivered at the Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Rabbi Dr. Abraham Skorka offers a brief presentation on the Jewish view on Christianity. He first gives an overview of the 2,000 years of their shared history, from the birth of Christianity in the heart of the Judea and Galilee of the first century of the Common Era up to the present. He also reviews some especially significant moments of this history, both positive and negative, and then attempts to project the future of this unique relationship.
