Thomas Farr presented testimony before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, and Human Rights on June 3, 2011. The subcommittee hearing was convened to discuss HR 1856 International Religious Freedom Act Amendments of 2011. Farr argues in his testimony that the promotion of religious freedom as part of U.S. foreign policy is crucial to the success of American diplomatic efforts and to American national security.
