G20 Interfaith Forum: A Webinar Series on Priority Recommendations

The G20 Interfaith Forum offers a platform where a network of religiously linked institutions and initiatives engage on global agendas. Since 2014, this alliance has focused on leading global issues, bringing the voices of diverse religious communities worldwide to policy tables and especially to the Group of 20—the G20. At the invitation of the G20 Social, the forum presented a summary of priority recommendations for G20 consideration in June 2024. They were a focus of discussions during the G20 Interfaith Forum gathering in August 2024 in Brasilia and will be the focus of the G20 Social gathering in Rio de Janeiro in November. These conversations and policy priorities are reflected in a series of policy briefs on topics ranging from poverty and food security to the environment to religious literacy, human trafficking, and development finance.

During fall 2024, a series of webinars will bring together leaders from different faith-linked entities to address these topics, highlighting the underlying problems, the involvement of faith communities, and proposals to the G20 and to faith communities on paths forward. We invite you to join these important conversations.

This webinar series is co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University and the G20 Interfaith Forum.
