Location: Online Zoom Webinar

Polarization, extremist tendencies, and disinformation are scourges of our time. They divide societies and undermine the cohesion that is vital to inclusive societies that thrive on diversity and clear common purpose. Competencies that foster cross-cultural and multireligious understanding and engagement need to be integral parts of modern education systems. This webinar explored the challenges that leaders confront as they confront root causes of divisions, approaches the G20 might advocate, and promising approaches in different settings that aim to model and build diverse competencies and approaches.

This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University and the G20 Interfaith Forum.
