Governance

As part of its multi-year survey of critical issues at the intersection of religion and development, the Berkley Center has held events and developed publications focused on governance. In October 2008 the Berkley Center convened a roundtable discussion meeting that explored current efforts by faith leaders and institutions to address governance challenges internationally and possible avenues towards more effective engagement. The meeting led to the publication of a report outlining the diverse phenomena categorized under "governance," critical actors, and areas for collaboration; its findings were later distilled into a policy brief.
