IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows 2024-2025
The 2024-2025 IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows cohort consists of 12 students hailing from 11 Jesuit universities in 10 countries around the world. Students who completed the course module as part of the IAJU Global Citizenship Curriculum Project during the fall 2024 semester were eligible to apply for the program. The 12 fellows were selected from a pool of over 180 students from around the world. During the spring 2025 semester, they are engaging in monthly virtual sessions as a cohort to explore the meaning of global citizenship and develop skills as future leaders and facilitators of intercultural dialogue.
Following these virtual sessions, the cohort will travel to Bogotá, Colombia, from June 30 to July 3, 2025, to engage in an immersive study tour on the occasion of the IAJU International Assembly, where they will navigate ways to enhance their learning and commitment to global citizenship through in-person dialogues, intensive workshops, engagement with distinguished speakers, and cultural explorations.
