Olympic Values Essay Competition

More than 265 students from 61 countries shared their ideas about Olympic values and how to realize them in the twenty-first century as part of the 2012 Olympic Values Essay Competition. Congratulations to the winners and alternates! The best essays were posted on this page each day through the end of the Games.

  • Alternates: Jimmy Manyanga (Zimbabwe), Kathleen Yu (Philippines)

The essay competition was co-supported by Worldwide Support for Development, World Faiths Development Dialogue, and Georgetown University.
