Karen Samy (SFS'23) is an undergraduate student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service majoring in international politics with a minor in religion, ethics, and world affairs and a certificate in African studies. Karen has focused her research across disciplines on the Coptic Orthodox people, their political status, and shifts in theological and organizational structures. On campus, she is involved in the Mask & Bauble Dramatic Society and the Arab Society, and she will be working in international development after graduation.
