Yingjin Xu 英瑾徐 is a professor of philosophy at Fudan University. His main philosophical interests include philosophy of cognitive science, philosophy of language, metaphysics, and epistemology. In 2018, he served as the chair of the Artificial Intelligence Section of the World Congress of Philosophy and concurrently as the deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Committee for Epistemology. His book Mind, Language and Machines—a Dialogue between Wittgenstein and AI (2013) won the Simian Original Award in 2022.
