Location: Online Zoom Webinar

Kenya hosts one of the largest refugee populations in Africa, with many seeking safety and asylum from the multiple long-standing conflicts in the surrounding region. This webinar, a part of the Berkley Center's Religion and the Crisis of Displaced Persons project, will focus on Kenya’s situation and specifically consider the central roles played by the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in responding to the needs of refugees and internally displaced people. The discussion will situate the refugee crisis within Kenya's broader strategies for peace and development progress.
